The installation at the MAK operates at the interface between the model context and reality: a large, diagrammatic configuration of structure studies becomes a three-dimensional intervention into the space of the MAK Gallery itself and at the same time serves as both base and display unit for the models and animations of the exhibitions. The exhibition was a showcase of architects Michael Wallraff’s work and support for the exhibition design from engineers Bollinger + Grohmann.
