Optimization of Column Positions
Difficulty: Hard
The position of inclined columns for a shell roof structure is optimized. This shows how beams and shells are integrated into a single model. 3d shapes are used during the optimization to reduce the columns from intersecting predefined regions. The surface, boxes and region of columns can be altered.
This example uses Octopus for multi-objective optimization.
